'COMMUTE'
[ trans. ] reduce (a judicial sentence, esp. a sentence of death) to one less severe:

Work in progress, Commute is a personal project, with a strong existential theme. A philosophy that emphasizes the isolation of the individual experience in a hostile or indifferent environment is called Existentialism....anxiety & fear is one of it's important themes. The life of a commuter can be governed by the fear of tunnels, bridges, underpasses, cramped or empty railway carriages, dark streets. A lingering stare from a stranger can promulgate, create an overwhelming sense of paranoia, just one of the many existential paradigms of the commuter. With my series 'Commute' I take a personal journey into the paradigm of the commuter, but more importantly I explore the subject of fear, xenophbia, paranoia from my own experience. I intend to complete this work, with the development of a multi-media film, since I have a number of stop motion sequences, that when edited into the timeline of the narrative I am developing, I think will be the second most important personal project of my career.
